Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and service multiple accounts by merchandising approved products following quality guidelines.

You will follow planograms, work with store management, rotate stock, and create point-of-sale displays. Strong communication and reliability are essential; lifting up to 50 lbs and a fast-paced environment are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of customers with differing demands.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products in cold vaults and on shelves according to procedures and programs.
• Moves product from sales floor to cold vault and displays.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelves where permitted.
• Rotates product and maintains overall displays.
• Fills and merchandises coolers within outlets and displays on sales floor.
• Organizes back room cooler by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; manages returns and disposables.
• Maintains good relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and upcoming activities.
