Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations. You will service multiple accounts, follow planograms, and work with store management to drive visibility and sales.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, effective communication, and a proactive, independent work style in a fast-paced environment. Training and a company cell phone are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in retail.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and satisfy varied customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• Company provided cell phone is available.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Moves product from backroom to display area.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and ensures proper vendor operation.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; handles returns and damaged items.
• Builds relationships with store personnel through follow-ups, pricing, and upcoming activities.
