Job summary

The Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Paducah, KY is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and manage multiple accounts. You will merchandise approved products, follow planograms, and communicate with store management and cross-functional teams.

You will rotate products in coolers and on shelves, set up displays, and maintain back room cooler organization. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication are favored for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with varied customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products in cold vaults and on shelves per procedures.
• Moves product from sales floor to cold vault and displays; creates POS materials.
• Fills coolers and displays on sales floor and maintains back room organization.
• Builds relationships with store personnel through follow-ups and programs.
