Job summary

The Merchandiser at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated presents products in customer retail locations, services multiple Convenience Retail, Drug and Value accounts, and follows planograms and quality guidelines to attract shoppers.

Responsibilities include rotating stock in coolers, merchandising displays, moving products between sales floors and cold vaults, and building strong relationships with store personnel through proactive communication and timely execution of programs.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products in cold vaults and on the shelf.
• Fills and merchandises coolers and displays.
• Organizes back room cooler and manages product flow and stock returns.
• Builds business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up and proactive communication.
