Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to ensure stores are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will replenish inventory, maintain presentation standards, and enhance the shopping experience reflecting the brand identity.

The role involves executing planograms, supporting multiple stores, and reporting via the Winston App on a smartphone. Experience in retail merchandising and strong communication are preferred. Independent contractor schedule offers project-based hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability.
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device.
• IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer; Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest.

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands-on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
  • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift
