Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate Retail Merchandiser in Williston, ND. You will be hands-on in stores, replenishing inventory, maintaining product presentation, and delivering a seamless shopping experience that reflects the Winston brand identity.

This role requires independent contractor availability with varying hours, a focus on organized visuals, and reporting via mobile devices. Training is provided and flexibility is offered to fit project-based needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in presenting products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with store standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement across apparel and hardlines.
• Communicate merchandising needs with store management and team members.
• Work independently and as part of a team across different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and deliverables meet deadlines.
• Submit store visit reports with before/after photos and feedback via the Winston App.

Pay: $16-$18 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)

Job Overview Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands-on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.
Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
  • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardline merchandise
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
