Job summary

Winston Retail in Deming, NM seeks a detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser for in-store work. You will replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and create an engaging shopping experience reflecting the brand identity.

Work is on an independent contractor basis with varying hours and a competitive hourly rate. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and report via the Winston App on iOS or Android devices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or related field.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift

Pay: $16-$18 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands-on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.
