Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a Market Investigator to ensure stores comply with company programs and policies in Mesa, AZ. You will monitor store operations, lead loss prevention efforts, and partner with field managers to reduce shrink and improve safety.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, training managers and staff, handling CCTV and alarm systems, and reporting findings to leadership. Travel may be required to cover markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Retail loss prevention experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel locally and overnight; valid driver’s license required.
• Experience facilitating large group training sessions.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly LP audits and score store performance.
• Advise Store Managers on improving in-store operations.
• Train Store Managers and teams on LP, security, safety and related procedures.
• Plan and facilitate storewide meetings with LP teams and managers.
• Monitor cash and sales losses using reports and audits; investigate trends.
• Oversee Asset Protection equipment maintenance and usage.
