Job summary

Sun Tan City is actively seeking motivated leaders to join our management team. The Salon Director in Training will drive store performance, foster exceptional client service, and uphold operational excellence.

You will supervise Tanning Consultants and lead by example to deliver an outstanding client experience. This role requires retail management experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for team leadership.

Qualifications

• Management or Sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to boost daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with salon director functions.
• Help maintain top-line revenue and control expenses.
• Maintain proper staffing levels to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Able to work nights and weekends; 5-day workweek with 35–45 hours per week.
