Job summary

Sun Tan City, a leading tanning salon chain, is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will supervise tanning consultants, coach staff, and lead by example to meet productivity goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and operational discipline, with opportunities for advancement within the Glow Brands family. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all operations including creating a client-centric experience and meeting sales objectives.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Help control top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Work a 5-day week with approximately 35–45 hours per week depending on status.
