Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to plan actions for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Take responsibility for the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments as needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure store profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain high-quality customer service in line with policies.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service per the customer service manual and assist customers during peak times.
• Promote and upsell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies and standards as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by adhering to internal controls and flag potential fraud.
