Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is seeking a Manager in Training to assist in daily retail store operations and to support staffing, training, scheduling, and compliance with company policies. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and delivering strong customer service.

The Manager in Training will work under the Store Manager to oversee operations, manage donations, ensure safety, and contribute to performance reporting and loss prevention. A pathway to store leadership is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a retail setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in hiring, training, and supervising team members.
• Help manage daily store operations, including scheduling, cash handling, and inventory.
• Promote exceptional customer service and uphold safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling of donations and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Monitor store performance and assist with reports, budgets, and loss prevention.
