Compass Group USA, operating Wingate University Dining, is hiring for a Retail Manager to lead our branded retail locations and drive operational results. The role requires overseeing Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and Einstein Bros, while coaching and developing associates in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in restaurant/retail/hospitality management, strong leadership and communication skills, and availability for nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food-service management experience preferred.
• National brand experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with scheduling, ordering, inventory, and cost control.
• Energetic, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Open availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and Einstein Bros.
• Schedule and manage supervisors, leads, and hourly associates
• Manage ordering, receiving, inventory, and product availability
• Review PLMs, sales, labor, and operational performance
• Lead associate training, development, and onboarding
• Maintain brand, food safety, sanitation, and service standards
• Complete audits and follow up on operational opportunities
• Obtain and maintain required Chick-fil-A certification.
• Coach and hold team members accountable while creating a positive work environment
• Partner with the General Manager and university leadership to support dining goals
