Job summary

Bon Secours St Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH seeks a friendly, experienced leader to manage its hospital cafe retail operation. You will drive service quality and profitability in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will recruit, train, and schedule staff, develop a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences for staff and visitors, while controlling costs and delivering consistent food quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of retail food experience in quick-serve restaurants, supermarket merchandising, or fine dining.
• 3+ years of management.
• Experience with cash handling policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with POS/register systems and hospital food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cafe retail area to provide excellent customer service and support revenue growth.
• Lead a team environment that fosters morale, quality, and respect.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and guide team members; coach and counsel as needed.
• Perform daily inspections and assessments and monitor sales and costs.
• Relate to staff and patients/families to maintain high customer satisfaction.
