Job summary

GNC is seeking a dynamic individual for the Store Manager in Training (SMIT) program in Charlotte, NC. This full-time hourly supervisory track is designed to prepare you to manage your own store, lead a team, and drive results while upholding GNC’s Live Well philosophy.

You will learn through hands-on training, coaching, and real-world store operations, with clear paths to promotion based on performance and market needs.

Qualifications

• Retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Customer-focused approach aligned with Live Well philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store team to provide exceptional service.
• Lead, coach, and support team to promote promotion and growth.
• Oversee daily operations, including business performance and product management.
• Represent the GNC brand and promote the Live Well message to customers.
• Engage with leaders in training initiatives to support promotion path.
• Support the shopping experience including visuals, initiatives, and MYGNC Rewards.
• Achieve personal sales and productivity goals; help associates reach potential.
• Build strong teams; provide feedback; recruit and manage performance.
• Handle opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, and deposits.
• Attend community events to promote organizational mission.
