Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Compliance Monitor in Memphis, TN to monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, providing a visible presence and exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required daily activity documentation.
