Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking a Stocking Specialist to support Lowe's stores across Michigan. You will stock and merchandize Novo materials, maintain neat displays, and coordinate with store personnel to ensure timely stocking.

The role requires travel to local Lowe's stores and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include a $2,000 sign-on bonus, a monthly car allowance of $380, mileage reimbursement, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid unrestricted driver’s license (other than vision) is required.
• Automobile Insurance coverage (you will need to provide proof).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety in Lowe's store and for customers and associates.

• Confirm product availability with the Lowe's receiving department.
• Stock Novo products within 36 hours of delivery into Lowe's system.
• Retrieve Novo products from inventory and stock in proper locations.
• Keep stock neat and tidy; straighten moulding and return products to proper locations.
• Perform culls and ensure credits for damaged pieces.
• Keep aisles clean and dispose of packing materials properly.
• Coordinate with stores for special events and store set/reset activities.

Position Summary

The person in this position is responsible for servicing assigned Lowe's stores by fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Stocking Program with Lowe's, which includes stocking Novo materials that have been previously shipped to the store. This position merchandises/stocks lumber and millwork at Lowe's stores across Michigan.

Salary and Incentives

• $20/hr.
• $2,000 bonus
• Monthly Car Allowance: $380/mo.
• Mileage Reimbursement

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure your safety while working in the Lowe's store, as well as the safety of those around you, including Lowes personnel or Lowe's customers
• Be courteous and professional to the customer
• Communicate effectively with Lowe's store personnel
• Contact the Lowes receiving department of the store you are responsible for to confirm availability of products to be stocked
• Stock Novo products included in the Stocking Program within 36 hours of when they are delivered (after the materials have been received in the Lowes system) unless other arrangements are made with authorized Lowe’s representatives
• Retrieve Novo products from inventory, break bundles, and stock products appropriately
• Ensure all Novo products that are stocked look neat/tidy:
• Straighten and push back moulding
• Return ALL products to their proper location.
• Stock moulding in the proper bin locations.
• Perform culls and ensure Lowe’s has properly received credit for damaged pieces found during the stocking process.
• Keep aisles free of debris during the stocking process.
• Clean up and properly dispose of all bundle ties and other packing materials.
• Return or arrange for the return of all carts and/or cattle racks to their proper location.
• Participate in special events for customers (i.e. Grand Openings, Contractor Days, product knowledge training, etc.), as requested.
• Assist with store set/reset activity, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
