Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking an entry-level Stocking Associate to service Lowe's stores across Michigan, stocking Novo materials and merchandizing lumber and millwork. The role covers Commerce Township and nearby areas, with daily driving between local Lowes locations.

You will stock materials within 36 hours of delivery, maintain neat presentations, and assist with store events. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and auto insurance proof.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Basic math skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Stock Novo materials at Lowe's stores within 36 hours of delivery.
• Retrieve and stock moulding and related products in correct bins.
• Keep stock neat, tidy, and properly shelved; ensure proper credit for damaged pieces.
• Communicate with Lowe's receiving and store personnel to confirm availability.
• Support store events and participate in stock-related activities as needed.

The person in this position is responsible for servicing assigned Lowe's stores by fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Stocking Program with Lowe's, which includes stocking Novo materials that have been previously shipped to the store. This position merchandises/stocks lumber and millwork at Lowe's stores across Michigan.

Territory: Commerce Township, Clinton Township, Chesterfield, and Southfield

Salary and Incentives

• $20/hr.
• $2,000 bonus
• Monthly Car Allowance: $380/mo.
• Mileage Reimbursement

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure your safety while working in the Lowe's store, as well as the safety of those around you, including Lowes personnel or Lowe's customers
• Be courteous and professional to the customer
• Communicate effectively with Lowe's store personnel
• Contact the Lowes receiving department of the store you are responsible for to confirm availability of products to be stocked
• Stock Novo products included in the Stocking Program within 36 hours of when they are delivered (after the materials have been received in the Lowes system) unless other arrangements are made with authorized Lowe’s representatives
• Retrieve Novo products from inventory, break bundles, and stock products appropriately
• Ensure all Novo products that are stocked look neat/tidy:
• Straighten and push back moulding,
• Return ALL products to their proper location.
• Stock moulding in the proper bin locations.
• Perform culls and ensure Lowe’s has properly received credit for damaged pieces found during the stocking process.
• Keep aisles free of debris during the stocking process.
• Clean up and properly dispose of all bundle ties and other packing materials.
• Return or arrange for the return of all carts and/or cattle racks to their proper location.
• Participate in special events for customers (i.e. Grand Openings, Contractor Days, product knowledge training, etc.), as requested.
• Assist with store set/reset activity, as needed.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications (Required)

• High school diploma or GED
• A valid unrestricted driver’s license (Other than vision)
• Automobile Insurance coverage (you will need to provide proof)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience stocking customer stores.

Travel Requirements

• Travel to assigned Lowes store(s) in a local geographic region.

Physical Requirements
