Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors in Ocala, FL is seeking a Logistics Manager to drive daily store operations, overseeing logistics, merchandising, and receiving with a focus on inventory flow, accuracy, safety, and efficiency. You will translate corporate strategy into in-store results and balance scheduling, training, and payroll while upholding standards.

You will work closely with the Store Director and leaders to improve performance, coach Team Leads and Members, and ensure a seamless customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
Proven ability to lead up to 40 team members while meeting sales targets.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
Ability to interpret operational and financial data.
Experience with inventory systems and order processing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day logistics, receiving, and inventory flow to support customer experience.
Plan and manage workforce scheduling, training, and payroll while maintaining standards.
Collaborate with Store Director and leaders on operational priorities and improvements.
Drive store performance, profitability, and enforcement of safety standards.
