Job summary

FirstCash in Irving, TX is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to help customers with sales, loans, and inquiries while earning commission on top of hourly pay. The role includes processing transactions, evaluating items, and maintaining displays, with a flexible weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries
• Explain terms and complete paperwork for pawn and loan services
• Process sales and loan activity accurately per guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
