The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Command in the Kansas City metro area offers a Manager-in-Training (MIT) program designed to prepare leaders for store management across 11 KC stores. This 12-week, full-time, paid leadership development program provides hands-on experience in thrift-store operations, team leadership, customer service, and financial accountability.

MIT participants train across our thrift-store network; successful graduates may advance to Store Manager, Assistant

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in staff management and development
• Proven retail management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver's license
