The Salvation Army in Kansas City Metro Area offers a Manager-in-Training (MIT) program designed to prepare you for store leadership. This 12-week, full-time development path covers team leadership, sales growth, production management, customer service, and financial accountability across our thrift stores.

Participants train at various KC metro locations and may transition into Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Lead Sales Associate roles based on performance and business needs.

• Retail or supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership potential and growth mindset.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
