Job summary

Target is offering a Stores Executive Internship, a paid 40hr/week hands-on training program to develop and prepare you for store leadership. You will work closely with managers and team members to learn how Target’s retail business operates and what it takes to excel in a management role.

The program is designed to teach leadership in a retail setting, focusing on guest service, teamwork, and driving store priorities while gaining exposure to multiple store areas and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our stores in management.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the store sales floor and backroom leading team members.
• Leading through daily priorities (stocking shelves, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests, etc.).
• Participating in internship program training activities and events.
