Job summary

Checotah Chamber of Commerce invites applicants to join its Atwoods Manager in Training (MIT) Program. This hands-on leadership track lasts 5 weeks or longer, rotating through multiple store locations to gain experience with teams, customers, and operations.

Participants will learn recruiting, onboarding, training, task management, mentoring, coaching, and annual reviews, with opportunities to advance toward a Store Manager role based on performance and openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relative experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a store team in alignment with company directives.
• Execute merchandising standards to drive sales and consistency.
• Review operational reports including P&L and merchandise performance.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and annual reviews.
