Job summary

Boot Barn in Downey, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, drive sales, service and store operations. Lead by example on the sales floor during peak hours and coach Partners to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience.

You will plan schedules, assist with interviews, manage inventory and shrink, and support district and store center partners. Boot Barn emphasizes community, teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing direct reports in a retail environment.
• Ability to lead teams on selling floor and deliver coaching.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Coach, provide feedback and recognize excellence; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Assist with training plans, improve store performance in operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate on scheduling, hiring, policies, and communication with district and support Center partners.
• Plan and execute community events and local outreach with Store Manager.
