Job summary

OluKai is seeking a Retail Lead to welcome customers and deliver a premium brand experience at the store. The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and a passion for premium products within a dynamic retail environment.

The position is full-time (32+ hours/week) with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and employee discounts on Archipelago brands. The role includes opening/closing the store, coaching staff, and participating in local events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to consistently hit goals and plans set forth by company and/or management.
• Leadership capabilities to uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directives.
• Responsible for opening and closing the store to standard and for store keys and security measures.
• Able to serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Provide basic coaching to Retail Associates as needed.
• Ability to engage with new customers and build rapport.
• Storyteller mindset sharing brand partnerships, product designs and reasons for being.
• Expertise on OluKai’s product lines, fashion trend awareness, understand customer needs and recommend selections.
• Ability to resolve customer issues independently while maintaining aloha spirit in high-stress situations.
• Attention to detail, uphold visual standards and store cleanliness.
• Willingness to help with back-of-house duties including receiving, stocking, and processing product.
• Strong POS knowledge for a seamless consumer experience.
• Be a brand ambassador and participate in local events and giveback programs.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store to standard and manage store keys and security measures.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Provide coaching to Retail Associates.
• Engage with customers and build rapport while storytelling OluKai brand partnerships and product inspirations.
• Assist with back-of-house duties including receiving and stocking.
• Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness, including POS usage for a smooth checkout.
• Represent the brand at local events and giveback programs.
