Mattel, Inc. announces a Retail Lead opportunity for the American Girl NYC store. You will assist the sales manager with daily operations, provide leadership to the department, and deliver high-level selling and customer service to guests.

You will support store leadership, manage staff development, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining visual standards and floor coverage. This role requires strong communication and a warm demeanor towards children and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work with a broad and diverse workforce.
• Lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must enjoy children and possess a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Support the retail sales manager in all business functions including merchandise management and staff development.
• Execute supervisory duties, including floor presentation and coaching to meet sales goals.
• Lead by example with exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities by overseeing the sales floor and resolving customer concerns.
