Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus in Ohio. You will assist customers, operate a cash register, stock merchandise, and support management in opening/closing the store and upholding planograms.

The role includes leading by example, handling payments, and performing duties in the absence of the Store Manager. A high school diploma and related supervisory experience are preferred for this full-time, on-site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases; collect payment and give change.
• Stock merchandise and build displays; restock and rotate items on shelves.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
