Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Retail Sales Lead for a Delaware County Jail location in Glen Mills, PA. The role focuses on coordinating store operations, training cashiers and utility workers, and delivering exceptional guest service to every visitor.

You will lead pre-shift briefings, balance daily sales, and manage payroll and scheduling while maintaining a safe, professional store environment. Prior retail experience and alcohol compliance training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills for reports and audits.
• Must be of legal age to work with alcohol.
• Proof of having earned a responsible alcohol training/certification where applicable.
• Flexible with a rotational schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Must be fluent in the native language, both spoken and written.
• Computer literate in MS Office programs.
• Ability to operate equipment such as POS system and office devices.
• Must be well groomed and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties.
• Hold pre-shift meetings to review tasks and safety info.
• Act as concierge resource for guests and knowledge of surrounding areas.
• Greet guests entering the store and provide service.
• Train staff to develop customer-service focused professionals.
• Coordinate daily operations in manager's absence and resolve issues.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain stock inventory and note shortages.
• Order merchandise to meet demand from warehouse/vendors.
• Complete monthly safety inspections and incident reports as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and a pleasant store atmosphere.
• Compile daily cash and sales data using Excel and POS systems.
• Lead nightly close out and balance cash with sales.
• Assist with scheduling and payroll coordination.
• Support hiring of General Utility Workers and Sales Associates.
