Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, delivering friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include closing the store, reconciling cash, maintaining daily sales records, processing donations, stocking items, and assisting customers.

Requires a high school diploma and prior supervisory experience; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; flexible hours including

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintain records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
