Job summary

RISE Community Services is hiring a part-time Retail Support Specialist to assist customers in-store and support warehouse operations. You’ll greet customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and help organize donations while coaching individuals with disabilities to grow job skills.

You’ll work at multiple RISE locations, adapting to location needs, and ensuring safety and confidentiality in every task. Evening/weekend availability is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and any follow-up checks.
• Valid driver’s license and Missouri Class E license within 14 days of hire.
• Must complete required training and be flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication; patient and supportive.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; process transactions using POS systems.
• Stock, organize, and maintain clean sales and storage areas.
• Assist with donations and warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals with disabilities.
• Document activities and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and agency standards.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to meet goals.
