Job summary

RISE Services in Rhode Island seeks an Employment Specialist or Job Coach to provide direct employment services to individuals with disabilities across the East Bay region. The role starts part-time with potential to expand as the program grows, including mentoring new staff and building relationships with ORS and local employers.

The position offers flexible daytime hours, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities to advance into leadership as referrals increase and services expand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field plus at least three years of relevant experience
• High school diploma plus at least five years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct employment services to individuals with disabilities, including career exploration, job development, job placement, job coaching and workplace support
• Communicate with clients, families, employers, and referral partners; complete accurate service documentation
• Grow with the program into leadership roles and help coordinate services and staff as referrals increase

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, psychology, education, or related field
