Job summary

UNFI is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager – Retail to oversee the retail project portfolio, budgets, and deliverables. You will work with project managers to ensure adherence to SDLC and best practices, and provide oversight of budgets across the portfolio.

The role may require serving as project manager for key initiatives, defining plans, and guiding teams through multiple medium and large projects across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering or Finance.
• Prefer PMP or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years of experience in project or portfolio management.
• Experience leading large retail project portfolios and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides reporting to the retail CIO around projects and budgets to support decision making.
• Uses the SDLC to create and execute project work plans with changing needs.
• Develops milestones and time-boxes work to meet deadlines.
• Allocates resources with managers to fit the work plans.
• Manages delivery with urgency and ensures high-quality solutions.
