Job summary

UNFI in Edina, MN is seeking an IT Principal Architect - Retail to lead end-to-end enterprise architecture across merchandising, item, pricing, promotion, store operations, inventory, digital commerce, data, integration, security, and enabling technology capabilities.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence two days weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and collaboration with senior leaders to drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business technology, or related field.
• Preferred: TOGAF, cloud architecture certification, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture strategy and target-state roadmap for retail capabilities.
• Partner with leadership to translate strategic goals into capabilities and investments.
• Define and govern the retail application portfolio strategy and modernization.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance processes.
• Lead current-state and target-state architecture development with traceability.
