Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a Director of Business Insights to deliver strategic, data-driven insights supporting Walmart and Sam’s Club sales objectives. You will act as SME in retail data, leveraging syndicated and internal sources, building client relationships, and coaching team members.

This hybrid role requires advanced analytics, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while influencing merchants’ actions. Work is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Proficient in multiple business apps (Excel, BI tools, Office suite).
• Curious about drivers of business performance with data.
• Able to manage multiple projects and communicate insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with managers and clients to develop strategic plans.
• Create data-driven sales presentations with the Acosta Group and clients.
• Lead and mentor an analyst; develop insights across multiple customers and categories.
• Share best practices; standardize analyses across the sales team.
