Job summary

Acosta Group seeks a Director of Business Insights in Boise for a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days at home). You will deliver strategic, data-driven insights to support Walmart and Sam’s Club sales objectives and serve as a subject matter expert in retail data to inform business strategies and presentations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Curious about drivers of business performance and able to influence merchants into action.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible, agile, and able to adapt to change quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with business managers and clients in developing strategic plans for portfolios within assigned Customers.
• Develop and present strategic, data-driven sales presentations to generate increased sales in partnership with the Acosta Group sales team and Client.
• Serve as subject matter expert in data sources (POS, loyalty data, syndicated data, internal data) to support strategic discussions.
• Manage and develop insights and reporting for multiple clients across categories.
• Develop and share best practices; create templates to standardize analyses across the sales team.
• Mentor and train one analyst on the Business Insights team and assign daily activities.
• Stay current with client, customer, and consumer trends.
• Perform other duties to support Walmart HQ objectives.
