Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and six months sales-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of BFS products, pricing, discounts and estimating formulas.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to retail customers via walk-in, phone or email; assists with product selection and inquiries.
• Provides material estimates and quotes for small packages.
• Enters orders into the system and schedules delivery of products.
• Assists with inventory control, signage, stocking and store housekeeping.
• Coordinates and conducts customer workshops.
• Handles customer complaints and escalates complex issues.
