Job summary

Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to support daily store operations, from receiving merchandise to helping customers and donors. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and a friendly, service-oriented approach.

You will work a variety of shifts including weekends, handle cash transactions on electronic registers, and uphold ESGWND's mission and values while delivering exceptional experiences to customers and donors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math for cashiering and transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of First Aid and Safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts with reliability and punctuality.
• Work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Operate electronic cash registers and handle transactions.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to all patrons.
• Address inquiries and resolve complaints courteously.
• Assist in pricing, tagging, and sorting merchandise according to guidelines.
• Maintain store stock and assist with inventory management.
• Ensure store security and report issues to the Store Manager.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including janitorial duties.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report any incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
