Job summary

Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to support daily store operations, from receiving merchandise to delivering friendly customer service to donors and shoppers.

You'll handle cash, assist with pricing and stocking, maintain a clean, safe environment, and contribute to a welcoming volunteer and customer experience—while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
• Capacity to follow instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of First Aid and Safety protocols.
• Access to reliable transportation for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Operate electronic cash registers and handle transactions efficiently.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to all patrons.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints courteously.
• Assist in pricing, tagging, and sorting merchandise according to guidelines.
• Maintain store stock and assist with inventory management.
• Ensure store security and report any issues to the Store Manager.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including janitorial duties.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report any incidents promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
