Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair and maintenance of refrigeration HVAC equipment at local Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC/R skills with hand tools and digital devices to complete jobs and document activities.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support stores and associates.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training and operate tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
