Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Human Resources Lead to support store-level HR operations and create a positive associate experience. This role partners with store leadership to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, training, benefits administration, performance management, and associate engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, or associate engagement.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment policies, and workplace compliance.
• Experience using HRIS, ATS, or other computer-based systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting and talent acquisition activities, screening, interviewing, and candidate experience.
• Manage onboarding, orientations, and required documentation for new hires.
• Support benefits administration, leave management, and HR reporting.
• Partner with store managers on employee relations, performance coaching, and development.
• Coordinate training programs including onboarding, safety, and role-specific development.
• Ensure confidentiality of associate and company information.
