Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while representing the brand with professional and friendly interactions.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and the ability to lift merchandise, stock shelves, and support inventory tasks as part of daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
