Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Director of Retail Sales to own revenue production for our retail channel. You will partner with the Vice President of Stores to set selling strategies and drive programs that improve conversion, basket growth, and customer engagement across locations.

You will translate priorities into a measurable plan for every store, leading through data and evidence, with a focus on educators, schools, childcare and community segments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive retail sales leadership.
• 3+ years carrying a revenue number or P&L.
• Proven record designing sales programs at multi-unit scale.
• Strong financial fluency including budgeting and forecasting.
• Willingness to reside in the Mid-West and travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue production for Lakeshore’s retail channel with VP of Stores.
• Lead chain-wide selling programs and store-level execution.
• Develop and recover plans for at-risk stores with leadership.
• Drive retail B2B/outreach across educator, school and community segments.
• Evolve selling model, playbooks and training for store leaders.
