Job summary

Acosta Sales & Marketing is seeking a Business Manager (C-Store) in Marlborough, MA to drive sales growth and strengthen relationships with its customers. You will manage the assigned customer business, aiming to increase brand sales and market share while ensuring profitability for manufacturers and Acosta.

Responsibilities include achieving sales and mix goals, communicating priorities to internal teams, and reporting to leadership on new principal introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record in sales.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and marketing information to support sales presentations.
• Willing to travel domestically (local travel).

Responsibilities

• Achieve Sales Goals: deliver volume, share, and sales objectives at cost, maximizing revenue through various incentives.
• Strategic Communication: convey principals’ priorities to internal teams to ensure in-store presence.
• Leadership and Reporting: report to General Manager or Team Leader on introductions to new principals.
• Relationship Building: develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
• Team Collaboration: coordinate between General Managers and key principals on major retail initiatives.
• Market Insight: coordinate market visits and key account calls to drive principals’ programs.
• Feedback and Improvement: provide insights to principals and internal leaders for better programs.
• Information Management: maintain account data and review market pricing for accuracy.
