Job summary

Advantage-Solutions is seeking a Customer Development Manager to grow sales across assigned territories by building strong relationships with Store Operations and high-level decision makers.

The CDM will manage key accounts, drive in-store initiatives, plan coverage, and train Retail Sales Merchandisers, focusing on in-stock conditions and POS execution. This role emphasizes collaboration with store teams and regional leadership to optimize retail performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years experience managing key accounts in retail or consumer packaged goods
• Demonstrated history of building effective cross-functional relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong decision-making abilities and sound judgment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web browsers

Responsibilities

• Meeting or exceeding POS to plan goals for assigned territory and markets
• Delivering a positive gap versus Non-DRT
• Growing POS by selling incremental display locations and executing plan-o-gramed locations
• Developing and leveraging relationships with key decision makers in stores, markets, and regions
• Following sales call standards and coaching/coverage planning
• Complete accurate paperwork, reports, and expense documentation
