Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader in Santa Clara, CA to guide daily GM operations, optimize guest experiences, and develop a high-performing team. You will lead tasks such as stocking, signing, merchandising, and backroom organization while ensuring product availability and accurate pricing.

You will coach hourly team members, drive process improvements, and align with leadership to achieve sales goals in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals.
• Oversee receiving, merchandising, pricing, signing and stock availability in GM areas.
• Educate team on operational procedures affecting inventory, store profitability and product availability.
• Coach and develop hourly team members to build a strong GM team.
