Job summary

Victra, the leading Verizon authorized retailer in the United States, seeks a General Manager to shape the guest experience and drive performance. You will coach a team, mentor an Assistant General Manager, and lead the store to exceed sales targets with operational excellence.

You will develop leadership, manage budgets, forecasts, and staffing, and participate in NHU/GMU trainings. A strong track record in sales leadership and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
• 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balancing multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Shape guest experience by coaching your team and mentoring your Assistant General Manager.
• Exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence and inventory control.
• Lead store budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting to drive traffic and revenue.
• Develop, mentor, and retain top-performing staff while maintaining staffing and scheduling.
• Communicate objectives clearly and ensure timely follow-up with the team.
• Stay current with promotions and provide guests with complete product solutions.
• Own guest escalations and resolve issues promptly.
• Drive store strategy and training through weekly leadership calls.
