Job summary

Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations and shape the guest experience in a fast-paced Verizon retail environment. You will coach your team to deliver Every Guest Every Time, drive sales targets, and mentor an Assistant General Manager through leadership development.

You will drive performance by directing day-to-day activities, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while implementing the company vision.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and mentor your sales team.
• Teach, coach and follow our sales process with Every Guest Every Time.
• Attract and retain top caliber employees.
• Brand advocate for Victra.
• Provide ongoing sales training and support to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives.
• Engage in sales strategy development to showcase products and services.
• Ensure store employees meet monthly goals and training timelines.
• Develop and implement sales tools and initiatives.
• Maintain store performance with inventory compliance.
• Engage in budgeting, forecasting, analyzing and reporting.
• Think of innovative ways to drive traffic and leverage the customer base.
• Own store success and employees' work-related needs, staffing and scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention and other functions.
• Own guest escalations and provide timely resolutions.
• Communicate company objectives and priorities clearly to the team.
• Stay updated on promotions and ensure guests receive complete solutions.
