Job summary

Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer seeks a General Manager to shape guest experience by coaching a team to perform at their best. You’ll drive high-performance sales while ensuring daily store operations run like a business, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You’ll mentor your Assistant General Manager, develop leadership talent, and own store results with accountability for every guest interaction and outcome.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail sales experience, 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Own the hiring process for your store: interview, select, and bring in the best talent — a General Manager's most important decision is who joins the team, not just how you develop them once they're there
• Build, develop, and mentor your sales team
• Work through your team to teach, coach, and reinforce our sales process with Every Guest, Every Time
• Provide ongoing sales training and support to help your team exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives
• Own the store's numbers and drive overall sales performance
• Ensure store employees meet defined monthly success measurements and training
• Own store success and staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, and loss prevention
• Keep score daily by reviewing key sales and operational metrics
