Applegreen USA is seeking a General Manager Retail to lead a convenience store within a travel plaza on a major highway. You will drive day-to-day operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction while managing a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes budgeting, food safety, staff development, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to achieve growth and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of supervisor or unit-level management experience in a quick service restaurant.
• Willingness to work on-site ~50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and managers to meet sales, service, and food quality targets.
• Maintain budgets, inventory controls, costs, gross profit and reporting.
• Ensure planograms, pricing, marketing and food safety guidelines are followed.
• Recruit, develop and retain a strong store team; coach and train staff.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance and Facilities.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and the local community.
